Below are web and email links to friends and acquaintances I met at Fudan University in Shanghai, PRC, back in 1990-1991. If you are on Fudan's page, but not on this page and would like to be, or know someone I have not included that should be, or have pictures or a synopsis you would like to contribute, please email me at jeffrey@hawaii.edu.
You may also contact me if there is information here that you would like to have removed.

Dan BrockDan's Home Page 1991 Returned from Fudan and continued to study at Aarhus University in Denmark. 1992 Continued to study at Aarhus University in Denmark. Study (2 weeks) and travel (2 months) in Taiwan, then on to the Philippines. 1993 Continued to study at Aarhus University in Denmark. In summer I toured around Denmark with an amateur street performance trying to raise awareness about disabled peopleıs situation. 1994 Continued to study at Aarhus University in Denmark. In the summer I followed up on last summerıs performances with another outdoor show. In the fall I traveled in China for about three months (together with two helpers and Karsten Jacobsen and his newly married wife Tao Jinfen). We visited Shanghai and Fudan which was strange without all the friends from 90/91, and went to Hong Kong, Guangzhou. Chongqing, Chengdu, Xian, Qingdao, and Beijing, among others. 1995 Continued to study at Aarhus University in Denmark. In the summer I toured together with some friends with a very provocative show, called ³Slappendales², a parody of Chippendales. The show was a part of a big rock concert tour in Denmark. Together with some other friends I started a small group, which would try to start one or more projects to assist or help disabled people in Third World Countries. 1996 I went to Zimbabwe, where our new group had cooperation with a small newly formed disability organization. We assisted them in putting up the organization. I visited people in the major cities as Harare and Bulawayo, but also out in the bush. And it was total different from what I had experienced from other places around the world. The possibilities for families to change their situation to better conditions were very poor. 1997 In the summer I went with friends to participate in an international theater festival in Spain with another street performance. It was a quite funny experience, because we were not used to so many spectators, which was crowding around us, so we had to push people away, just to make enough room for the show. 1998-2000 I toured with a play by Harold Pinter called ³George The Last To Go². We played in Denmark, Spain and Poland. We had a few shows again with ³Slappendales². 2001 I visited Zimbabwe again to make a report on the disability movement in Zimbabwe. It was quite interesting, but the stay was too short, only three weeks. 2002-2004 I have toured with a solo play to schools, theater festivals, organizations and others.
